The Salinas family who own and operate the Posada Cocoa Beach hotel are some of the earliest Mexican surfers in Puerto Escondido. They surf regularly and offer private surf lessons to hotel guests. Surf classes for groups or individuals can be arranged at the hotel or at the Central Surf shops.
